Alaska Air National Guard Rescue Squadrons conduct precision parachute training at JBER

An Alaska Air National Guard HC-130J Combat King II operated by the 211th Rescue Squadron passes over Malemute drop zone while conducting precision parachute training at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Jan. 24, 2018. In a combat theater, members of the 211th Rescue Squadron primarily conduct personnel recovery operations. Back at home the 211th is part of a network of search-and rescue organizations that save hundreds of lives in and around Alaska every year.
