JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- The 176 Logistics Readiness Squadron changed leadership here May 18.
Lt. Col. Keolani "K O" Bailey accepted command after Lt. Col. John Harrington relinquished it.
Harrington had been commander the past seven years. He took the squadron through a few inspections, manning reductions and the move from Kulis Air National Guard Base to JBER. Now he is moving on to new opportunities.
Both commanders were recognized at the ceremony - Harrington for his dedication and passion for the squadron and Bailey for his energy and potential to lead the squadron to the next level.
"I want to thank the squadron members for allowing me to serve you," Harrington said. "You can't believe how proud I am of you."
