The 176th Wing Staff Judge Advocate's mission is to provide support and act as legal counsel to the 176th Wing Commander. The members of the "JAG" team consist of highly qualified and educated attorneys and paralegals that serve the 176th's unit commanders and first sergeants in the proper handling of adverse administrative legal issues, operations law, environmental law, contracts, labor, ethics, and legal opinions. The legal office staff also provides personal legal assistance to all of war fighters that make up the 176th Wing as well as their dependents. The Office of the Staff Judge Advocate strives to provide the Air National Guard community with quality legal services such as powers of attorney, wills, notary services, general family and preventative law or legal assistance.
Parent Unit
As a part of the 176th Wing Staff, the JAG reports directly to the wing commander and vice commander.
