JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Dawn and Toshi, parents of Major Matthew S. Komatsu, a pararescueman with the Alaska Air National Guard's 212th Rescue Squadron, watch via video chat as their son recieves the Bronze Star Medal at a ceremony here Dec. 7, 2013.
