Alaska Air National Guardsmen with the 176th Medical Group participated in Tactical Combat Casualty Care training April 4, 2019, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.

The training is designed to keep service members critically wounded on the battlefield alive before they are medically evacuated.

The Guardsmen worked with simulated casualties while engaging opposing forces with paintball replicas of the M4 carbine. Trainers included other 176th MDG Airmen and Soldiers of the 725th Brigade Support Battalion (Airborne).
