176 Maintenance Squadron gets a new commander

The 176 Wing's Maintenance Squadron welcomes their newly appointed commander during a traditional change of command ceremony here June 9, 2012.

Lt. Col Scott Coniglio will be in charge of more than 200 Airmen responsible for the maintenance of 176 Wing's fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.

"I feel privileged and honored to serve in this capacity at this time in my career. I am also looking forward to working with all of the men and women of the maintenance squadron," said Coniglio.

The change of command took place in front of coworkers, friends and family members.

Retired U.S. Air Force Col. Joseph Coniglio, Scott's father, said how proud he was of his son Scott and his accomplishments, he said his sons are Lieutenant Colonels in the Air Force and they all make him very proud.
