Bunny Suit
KULIS AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Alaska -- Master Sgt. Ryan Voigt, the 176th Medical Group's first sergeant, wears a bunny suit in support of the "Bunny for the Day" fundraiser here Dec. 4, 2010.
The fundraiser was put on by Kulis' First Sergeant Council to raise money for holiday gift baskets. These baskets will be given to airmen and their families to help them through the holidays.
"Anything to help," Voigt said.
The fundraiser was one in a series of council-sponsored events, including a pizza luncheon, base coin sales and pocket donations.
The bunny suit fundraiser brought in about $1200, according to Master Sgt. Janet Lemmons, the 176th Civil Engineering Squadron's first sergeant and the First Sergeant Council president.
The council raised more than $2500 for the baskets in total, Lemmons said. This will provide more than 30 airmen and families with holiday gift baskets, she said.
Lemmons said she appreciates Kulis' airmen for the donations and votes.
