176th Logistics Readiness Squadron Supports Haitian Relief with Vehicles and Supplies

Honolulu, Hawai'i --  On their Annual Tour of Duty (AT) at Hickam AFB, Honolulu, Hawai'i, members of the 176th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Alaska Air National Guard had the opportunity to take part in an Air Force-wide Haitian relief effort. While the Haitian relief was not the primary mission when the AT was scheduled, the 176th LRS members were more than eager to put their knowledge and skills to work in support of the Humanitarian mission. The Alaska Air Guardsmen inspected, prepared load plans for, packed and secured the relief supplies onto waiting C-17 Globemaster III aircraft.
