Alaska National Guardsmen receive Distinguished Flying Cross with Valor

Master Sgt. Brandon Stuemke receives his Distinguished Flying Cross with Valor Nov. 3 from 212th Rescue Squadron Commander Maj. Joe Conroy for actions performed during his deployment in 2010. Stuemke conducted more than 20 missions in 5 days, including treating a fellow pararescueman from a gunshot wound while under enemy fire. Photo by Lt.
