176th Wing Memorial Park Dedication and Blessing of the Land

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Brigadier General Charles Foster, commander of the 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, speaks to a crowd at the wing?s memorial park dedication and blessing of the land, May 21, 2011. Along with the park dedication and blessing, members of the Viet Nam Vets Motorcycle Club conducted a Fallen Warrior Ceremony in celebration of Armed Forces Day. In February, the wing moved from Kulis Air National Guard Base to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson per the 2005 Defense Base Realignment and Closure proposal.
