SAN CLEMENTE ISLAND, Calif -- Staff Sgt. Krista Jeppsen, an engineer assistant with the 176th Civil Engineer Squadron, peers into an instrument here March 15 to survey ground. In March 2011, the 176 CES deployed to this remote location off the coast of southern California for two weeks to train and work on a variety of infrastructure projects.
