JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Master Sgt. Wesley Freistone, a firefighter with the 176th Civil Engineering Squadron, sorts supplies in the air pack room in the new 176th Fire Training Facility. The squadron recently moved -- along with its parent unit, the 176th Wing -- from Kulis Air National Guard Base to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson per the 2005 Defense Base Closure and Realignment proposal.
