Bicycles to Afghanistan
Alaska Air Guardsman Master Sgt. Tess Walsh hands Senior Master Sgt. Thomas Martin a bicycle from the truck bed on December 5, 2009. Walsh and Martin are from the 176th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Alaska Air National Guard, Anchorage, Alaska. The bicycle and twenty-two other refurbished bikes will be airlifted by the Alaska Air National Guard?s144th Airlift Squadron, to Afghanistan to be given to disadvantaged children.
