Alaska Air National Guard at Hurricane Ike
A static-display F-16 overturned by winds from Hurricane Ike at Ellington field, Texas on Sept. 13, 2008. The 176th Wing deployed two helicopters and about 30 wing members to the Gulf Coast region Sept. 1 to perform expected search-and-rescue missions in the wake of Hurricane Gustav.
