Alaska Air National Guard at Hurricane Ike
A crew from the 176th Maintenance Squadron loads an HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter onto a waiting C-17 in the early morning of Aug. 21, 2008. The Alaska Air National Guard's 176th Wing sent two helicopters and about 30 pararescuers and aircrew members to the Gulf Coast to perform search-and-rescue operations in the aftermath of hurricanes Gustav and Ike.
