Chief of NGB visits Midnight Sun Guardians
Gen. Joseph L. Lengyel (right), chief of National Guard Bureau, is briefed on the Alaska Air National Guard's innovative long-range rescue capabilities by Col. Matthew Komatsu, commander of the 176th Wing's 212th Rescue Squadron, here May 7, 2017. Lengyel visited the wing as part of a wider tour of Alaska National Guard installations. While here, he met with the wing's senior leaders, toured maintenance facilities, and met and fielded questions from Airmen of all ranks.
