In-transit service members find tranquility at Transient Oasis
Staff Sgt. Melissa Vesco, 379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels distribution supervisor, arranges pillows on a chair at the Transient Oasis at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, April 18, 2019. The Transient Oasis opened April 11, 2019, as a focal point for in-transit service members and civilians waiting for travel home, or onward to deployed locations across U.S. Central Command. The 379th ELRS fuels distribution flight operates the facility 24/7 to ensure those in-transit have access to services including internet, information and amenities they may need.
