A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-35 Lightning II as well as a Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 identify and intercept a People’s Liberation Army Air Force H-6 Badger strategic bomber July 24, 2024, in the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone. The intercept of two H-6s, two Russian Tu-95 Bear bombers, and two Russian fighters by six total NORAD fighters demonstrated the capability of the 176th Air Defense Squadron newly modernized Battle Command Center.
