176th Wing Memorial Park Dedication and Blessing of the Land
JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Bob Lynn, District 31 Representative, flanked by Dan Saddler, District 18 Representative and Anna Fairclough, District 17 Representative, speaks to a crowd at the Alaska Air National Guard?s 176th Wing?s memorial park dedication and blessing of the land, May 21, 2011. The representatives were here to present a state citation to the families of the Airman who lost their lives in the 2010 C-17 Globemaster III crash. In February, the wing moved from Kulis Air National Guard Base to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson per the 2005 Defense Base Realignment and Closure proposal.
